A monumental porch of Corinthian columns on stone bases dominates the facade and leads to a double leaf four-panel door flanked by Doric columns with sidelights and surmounted by a broken six-pane transom. Soffit is enriched with dentil course surmounted by a commanding cymatium. Full-height louvered shutters flank double-hung windows with six-over-six pane configuration over jib doors. A distinctive hip roof bevedere is enriched with eave brackets and paired two-over-two windows with operable louvered shutters. The wrought iron balustrade embellishes the balcony, accessible from the four-panel wood door flanked by Doric Columns with sidelights and surmounted by a broken transom. This central passage, two-story five-bay, has stucco exterior, low-pitched roof and brick foundation. Four interior chimneys are of stucco and the roof is covered with standing seam metal. Summerhouse, kitchen and servants quarters, all of the same period are located on the property of Sturdivant Hall.
